Teen FREEDOM is designed to facilitate conversations around some of the most challenging topics that young people are facing.
Sexting, consent, impact of pornography and the value of the human person.
Youth ministries have an opportunity to intercept the damaging messages and the problematic social norms that teens are exposed to with a greater, more powerful message.
At the heart of this message lies Jesus Christ.
A message that inspires and challenges young people to live differently.
A message that would speak deeply into the hearts and minds of young people.
A message that declares that because of Christ, FREEDOM is theirs.

Each module contains a series of videos, engaging workbooks and discussion questions designed for small groups.
The challenge that young people face when it comes to the pressure around Sexting must not be underestimated. With a void of healthy conversation around this topic, Christian teens can be struggling under the weight of cultural influence and the normalisation of online sexual exploration. Mistakes in this space can have long term ramifications that can have devastating effects. Legally, emotionally, relationally, spiritually and psychologically. It is our responsibility to do all we can to equip young people to make positive, well-informed decisions in the midst of the digital world they are growing up in.
It is no secret that this generation of young people are growing up in a hyper-sexualised society. In the midst of a porn saturated culture teens on mass can find themselves exposed to harmful content. This content can leave them experiencing shame and confusion. Research shows the significant impact that pornography is having on young viewers and how it can be negatively shaping their perspective on sex, relationships and themselves. Our heart is for young people to deeply consider the impact of pornography, not only through the lens of their faith but from a scientific and ethical perspective as well.
As Christians we believe that every human person has innate value, dignity and worth. God’s love for humanity and the example that Jesus set gave us an example of the way we should value all people. Teens can be navigating messages that are contrary to this spiritual belief. In an image obsessed society, there can be so much value placed on the body: the idea that our physical makeup determines our worth. In these lessons we emphasise the immeasurable value of every person, placed on us by Christ himself. We encourage young people to deeply consider not only their own worth, but the worth of those around them.
There has been an outcry in the last few years for more conversation and education around the topic of Consent. Consent has often been downgraded to just “yes” or “no” answers and limited to a conversation simply about sex. Consent, however, is important in all of our relationships and interactions. In these lessons we cover the non-negoitable aspect of Consent in both the physical space and the online world. Our heart is that young people would understand the freedom that Christ offers every person and how this applies within all of our relationships.
